Rimmel match perfection!

I have been looking for a non premium beauty brand foundation and concealer for a few months now & I have finally found one that I love! I am the shade 102 light nude and it matches my skin perfectly. It applies smoothly and is a great coverage. I feel it needs blending in A bit more than my benefit foundation. But overall I love it.

Their concealer is a brush applicator which I have only ever used on lipgloss. It took a little bit to get used to but it's a great concealer. I use the shade 010 ivory. It really brightens up my eyes and conceals my dark circles.

Have you tried these and what do you think of them?

I Love Nail Stamping!!

It's the best way to get quick nail art and have it looking perfect! You could be the best artist but when it comes to the tiny detail it can take a while! But with nail stamping you get beautiful designs and quickly.

Their are loads of company's out their selling the stamping plates. My favourite one to use is konad. I find the image picks up best with them. I also have some from chocolate vanity, and I want to try moyou plates.

Here's a quick step by step tutorial if you have never used these before.

Step one: choose your base colour

Step two: choose the image you want to use & a special polish. This polish will be the colour of your image. (I nearly always choose white)

Step three: Polish the design you want, scrap away access polish with your scraper & roll your stamper over image to pick it up.

Step four: Roll your stamper with your image on over your nail and the image will transfer onto your nail.

Step five: When dry apply top coat to seal your image to your nails and apply any rhinestones you would like to your nails.

These are some of the designs I have done! Do you use stamping plates? If you do which are your favourites?

Get rid of dark circles under your eyes!

I have real trouble sleeping, I don't normally have more than 6hours sleep a night. So as you can imagine I have dark circles under my eyes all the time. Concealer covers them to an extent but not enough.

I was shopping in home & bargain the other week and saw this 'Eye roll-on.' It says it had cucumber extract and caffeine in to help smooth and stimulate tried skin under the eyes and reduce the appearance of under eye bags.

We all know that cucumber is a theory everyone uses so I though id give it a go. I didn't expect it to work as it was only 99p. But my black bags under my eyes have reduced significantly! When I have my foundation on you wouldn't know they even existed. So glad I bought this to try and I will definitely continue to use this!

Lip & Cheek Tints

My very first benefit product was their lolli tint! & it is one of my must have's. I absolutely love benefits lip & cheek tints. They come in four different colours lolli tint, posie tint, bene tint and cha cha tint. I own all of them! However I'm not a fan of cha cha tint, I lean more towards pinks & reds. Rather than coral colours.

Lolli tint is a pinky purple and gives the most deep pink glow to your cheeks and is perfect for a base on your lips for mostly any pink lipstick. It also helps your lipstick last longer.

Posie tint is a pale pink and just gives a hint of colour to your cheeks. This one is more of an everyday day colour. But goes perfectly with benefits dandilion blush! Just to give it that extra bit of colour.

Bene tint is the original tint that has been out for over 50 years (probably longer than that) & it looks like a deep ready in the bottle but it's just enough to My very first benefit product was their lolli tint! & it is one of my must have's. The tints all have a different consistency. Bene tint is more of a liquid, where as lolli
Tint & posie tint are a lot thicker. Once on the skin you need to blend it pretty quickly or it will leave a streak mark.

Have you tried any & which is your favourite? give your cheeks that rosy red look!!

Soap and Glory Skincare Haul

Woo it's Saturday! & yes I have been shopping again. I have loads of makeup but not very much skincare. So I decided to go into boots and have a look what I could find.
I've just recently started buying soap and glory bath & body, which I love! So when I saw they had skincare I had to get some.
I picked up the lip butter balm, as my lips have been very dry and need some hydration in them. It is originally £5, but on offer at £4.

I also got micellar cleansing water which is originally £6 but on offer at £4.80. And lastly I got their deep purifying cleanser which is originally £8, now £6.40.
I also had a offer if I bought any soap and glory product I got an extra 150 boots point. Which is always a bonus!

I haven't used these yet but I will do another blog soon on what I think of them.

Have you tried these and what do you think?

December favourites!!

• Bourjois foundation
• Seventeen concealer
• MAC heroin lipstick
• MUA mosaic blush
• Bourjois smokey eye trio (Gris dandy)

I have chosen these products as they are some of the few new products I have fell in love with over the last month. Mainly Bourjois foundation, this is one of the best foundations I have used. You don't need much to get a full coverage, it's a reasonable price and doesn't make you look orange, plus it blends well.
As you have seen in my last blog post I discovered seventeens new concealer and have been using that this month. Which has been amazing!!

I haven't really got many MAC products because I've never been a fan of going shopping their. But I have picked up a couple of their lipsticks & I love their 'Heroin' lipstick. It's a gorgeous dark purple. Lovely for winter.

On one of my many shopping trips this month I've picked up quiet a few blushers (I think it's the colour pink that attracts me) and one of them is the MUA mosaic blush in English rose. I used this in my 'Rave inspired makeup' & I love the pink tones blended together.

Lastly is the Bourjois smokey eye trio set. These are really good for keeping your 3 eyeshadows in one place. Also great if your not sure which colours to put together, the hard work is a all done for you.

What are you favourite products from December?

Seventeen vs Benefit - Concealer!

I have been using Benefits Bo-ing concealer for the last 6 months and I love it. But it's a little bit pricey at £17.50. So I decided to try and find a dupe. I was really excited when I saw Seventeen had brought out new products and one being their new 'Phwoarr paint heaven duty under eye concealer' It comes in two Shades, light & medium. Plus it was only £5.49 so I had to try it.

Benefits Bo-ing comes in 5 shades which would basically cover most peoples skin. But seventeen only having 2 shades isn't very good for people who have tanned or dark skin. Which is a shame :( Luckily I'm medium so it fits my skin perfectly.

Seventeens concealer is creamy but can dry and flake a little bit. Where as benefits is really creamy and doesn't flake when drys. I don't know if seventeen is flaking because I'm not warming the product up enough.

Other than that I really like seventeens new concealer & I will be re purchasing!

Have you tried either of these & what do you think? :]
